About

Searching for beauty in death and decay.

I’ve spent my artistic career using photography and prose to explore the unlikely beauty of death, decay, and ruin.

Most of my creative output focuses on macabre still life compositions, heavily inspired by the philosophy and iconography of 17th century Dutch paintings. My art has been exhibited in galleries and featured in coffee table books, often alongside other notable figures in the art world, including Andres Serrano and Hermann Nitsch. I have licensed images for use in a number of commercial ventures, ranging from the promotional materials for the popular Paramount+ series Chemistry of Death, to cover art for underground horror novels such as Jo Quenell's The Mud Ballad, CV Hunt and Andersen Prunty's Meat Photo, and Joshua Marsella's Hunger for Death. I am also a member of the Shadowood Collective (which also includes Clive Barker).

My fiction has been published in Three-Lobed Burning Eye Magazine, Nightmare Magazine, the Cinnabar Moth e-zine, and elsewhere. My nonfiction has been published in The Deadlands and Nightmare Magazine.
