Easter Sale
Happy Easter my dear vultures! For years I used to have this Easter tradition of creating a new vanitas just for the holiday. But, sadly, this year I had too many other things on my plate to get around to shooting a new religious image. Nevertheless, I thought it would be fun to have an easter sale. So all these religious prints are on sale for the duration of the weekend.
Each of these images uses the traditional iconography of vanitas paintings to explore themes surrounding religious faith and, in particular, the crucifixion of Jesus. These works span several years of my life and, looking at them now, it’s fascinating to take stock of how my approach to still life has changed and how my understanding of religious art has evolved.
All of these are open edition 8X12 prints that come matted to 11X14, hand titled and signed.
